License-plate recognition. It starts with readable footage.
Pro includes license-plate recognition, but a successful read depends on the video you upload. The plate must be clear enough in the original footage for its characters to be distinguished. Pro does not guarantee a plate read on every vehicle or every ride.

Three conditions. All in the original file.
- Large enough to read
- The plate needs to occupy enough of the frame for its individual characters to be visible. A high-resolution video can still contain a plate that is too small or too far away to read.
- Sharp, clear frames
- Motion blur, camera shake, missed focus, and heavy compression can obscure characters. Upload the original camera file when possible, rather than a compressed copy from a messaging app or social feed.
- Usable light and angle
- Glare, reflections, darkness, and steep viewing angles can make a plate unreadable. The full plate needs to be visible rather than blocked, cropped, or hidden by another vehicle.
Check the original before relying on a read.
Recognition can return an incomplete or incorrect plate, or no result at all. Pause the original video at the clearest frame and compare each character with the result. If the footage does not support the reading, treat it as unverified. Enhancing or enlarging an image does not establish characters that were not captured clearly.
That’s the same standard we hold every model to: a result is only as good as the evidence you can point to.
Included with Pro. One ride to try it on Free.
Pro includes 1,000 minutes of footage per month and access to license-plate recognition. Free includes a first-ride plate recognition trial. The same footage-quality requirements apply to both plans.
